The Mall at University Town Center will be the leading fashion shopping destination in the bay area. The shopping center will feature many distinctive retailers found nowhere else in our market. Sutter Roofing is proud to be part of the team working on the first enclosed mall built in the nation since 2006. The new mall has over 880,000 square feet of retail space. Sutter team delivered and installed nearly 250 truck loads of materials totally over 40,000 man hours in just over one year to complete this extensive project.
MATERIALS USED
Sutter used roofing material known as FiberTite Roofing Membranes which is constructed using high tenacity/heavy weight yarns. DensDeck roof boards were used that feature a combination of fire resistance, strength and dimensional stability. Rhinobond plates were used which allows for securement by welding the membrane to the plates using heat induction. The result is a roofing system that uses fewer plates and fasteners while enhancing the wind uplift resistance.
